Welcome to MC Server List. By registering an account, listing a server, placing bids, voting, or otherwise using any feature of this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in full. If you do not accept any part of these Terms, you must stop using the website immediately. Your continued use of the site constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms, including any updates we may make.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

1.1 Age Requirement. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to consent to these terms) to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

1.2 Account Registration. You may register using your email address and a username, or by signing in with Discord via OAuth2. Usernames must be 3–32 characters and may only contain letters, numbers, and underscores. If you register via Discord, we receive your Discord username, ID, email (if available), and avatar. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

1.3 Account Security. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses from compromised credentials. You must not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.

1.4 Email Verification. New accounts may be required to verify their email address before certain features become available. Unverified accounts may have limited functionality.

1.5 Account Termination. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to the platform or its users, without prior notice or refund.

2. Server Listings

2.1 Ownership & Permission. You may only list servers that you own, operate, or have explicit written permission from the owner to list. Listing a server you do not control may result in immediate removal and account suspension.

2.2 Accurate Information. All server information — including name, IP address, port, description, tags, category, country, and version — must be accurate and truthful. Misleading descriptions, fake player counts, or false tags are strictly prohibited and will result in removal.

2.3 Content Standards. Server names, descriptions, icons, banners, and all submitted content must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. The following content is expressly prohibited:

  • Adult, sexual, or pornographic material
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
  • Illegal activity, including but not limited to drug sales, weapons, or fraud
  • Malware, phishing links, or harmful downloads
  • Copyright or trademark infringement
  • Excessive profanity or offensive imagery

2.4 Server Status Checks. We periodically check listed servers to verify online status, player counts, and MOTD. Listings for servers that remain offline for extended periods may be hidden or removed. You may manually re-check your server's status from your dashboard at any time.

2.5 Removal Rights. We reserve the right to remove, hide, or modify any server listing at our sole discretion, with or without notice and with or without refund of any premium fees paid.

3. Voting System

3.1 Fair Voting. Each user may vote once per server per 24-hour period. Vote manipulation — including the use of multiple accounts (alt accounts), automated bots, proxy networks, paid vote services, or any other method to artificially inflate vote counts — is strictly prohibited.

3.2 Votifier Integration. If you enable Votifier for your server, you are responsible for ensuring your Votifier configuration is correct. We are not liable for failed vote notifications or any issues arising from incorrect Votifier settings on your server.

3.3 Vote Reset. We reserve the right to reset, adjust, or remove votes at our discretion if fraud is detected. Servers found engaging in vote manipulation may be permanently removed from the listing.

4. Premium Auction System

4.1 How the Auction Works. We offer 5 premium slots displayed prominently at the top of the server listing page. These slots are awarded through a bidding auction system:

  • The auction runs on a recurring cycle. After each auction ends, a new auction begins with a 1-month duration.
  • Bidding opens 7 days before the auction end date. Before bidding opens, the auction is in a "waiting" period and no bids are accepted.
  • Users place bids on their listed servers. Bids are ranked by amount — the highest bid wins Slot 1, the second highest wins Slot 2, and so on through Slot 5.
  • When the auction timer ends, the top 5 highest bids automatically win. All other bids are marked as "lost" and no payment is required.

4.2 Bidding Rules.

  • You may place one bid per server per auction cycle. You can update your bid amount at any time before the auction ends by placing a new, higher bid.
  • All bid amounts are in USD. The minimum bid is $1.00.
  • Bids are binding offers to pay the amount you specified if you win a slot. Placing a bid you do not intend to pay may result in account suspension and exclusion from future auctions.
  • You may only bid on servers that you own and that are listed and approved on this site.
  • Withdrawal of a bid is not supported. If you no longer wish to participate, simply do not pay if you win — but repeated non-payment after winning may result in exclusion from future auctions.

4.3 Payment & Activation.

  • Winning bidders receive a payment link by email and on the Premium page. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
  • Payment must be completed within 7 days of winning. Unpaid winnings may be reassigned to the next-highest bidder or voided.
  • Once payment is confirmed, the premium slot is activated immediately and remains active for 30 days from the activation date.
  • An expiration date is stored and displayed. The slot is automatically released when it expires.
  • If a new auction begins while your premium slot is still active, your slot will be cleared to make room for new winners. You may participate in the new auction to retain your position.

4.4 Refund Policy. All premium slot payments are non-refundable except in the case of a verifiable platform error on our end. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge with proof of payment. Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension and removal of all listings.

4.5 No Guarantee of Results. Purchasing a premium slot does not guarantee any specific number of clicks, votes, players, or revenue. We provide prominent placement but do not guarantee performance outcomes.

5. Payments & Stripe

5.1 Payment Processing. All payments for premium slots and auction winnings are processed through Stripe. We do not store, transmit, or handle your credit card information — this is handled entirely by Stripe's secure infrastructure.

5.2 Stripe Terms. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com. Stripe may decline transactions at their discretion.

5.3 Currency. All prices and bids are denominated in US Dollars (USD). If your payment method uses a different currency, conversion is handled by your bank or Stripe, and exchange rates or conversion fees may apply.

6. User Conduct & Prohibited Behavior

You agree not to:

  • Use multiple accounts (alts) to manipulate votes, bids, or any other system feature
  • Spam, harass, or send unsolicited messages to other users through the messaging system
  • Submit false reports against other servers or users
  • Attempt to hack, exploit, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the website or its infrastructure
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without express written permission
  • Impersonate staff, admins, or other users
  • Post links to malicious sites, phishing pages, or harmful downloads
  • Circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or access control measures
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, IP bans, and where applicable, referral to law enforcement. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation at our sole discretion.

7. Messaging & Communication

7.1 Private Messages. Users may send private messages to each other through the platform's messaging system. You are solely responsible for the content of your messages. We do not actively monitor private messages but reserve the right to review them if a complaint is received.

7.2 Blocking. You may block other users from sending you messages. Blocked users cannot send you new messages until unblocked.

7.3 Abuse. Using the messaging system to spam, threaten, harass, or scam other users is strictly prohibited. Report abuse via the reporting system or contact page.

8. Support Tickets

Users may submit support tickets for issues related to their account, listings, or payments. We strive to respond in a timely manner but do not guarantee a specific response time. Abuse of the support ticket system (e.g., spamming, false reports) may result in restricted access to support.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Content. The website design, branding, code, and original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.

9.2 Your Content. You retain ownership of all content you submit (server information, icons, banners, descriptions). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and modify that content for the purpose of operating the website.

9.3 Infringement. If you believe content on this site infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us via the contact page with details of the infringement. We will investigate and remove infringing content where appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 "As Is" Service. This website and all its features are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability.

10.2 No Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — this website, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or goodwill.

10.3 Third-Party Links. This website may contain links to third-party sites (including Minecraft servers, Stripe, Discord, and external websites). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites and are not liable for any damages arising from your interaction with them. Discord OAuth2 login is subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (discord.com).

10.4 Maximum Liability. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of this website shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your content submitted to the site.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Good Faith Resolution. Before pursuing any legal action, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication via our contact page for at least 30 days.

12.2 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the website operator is based. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
